Dr. Carsillo: So, patients I would consider to be good candidates for XPHOZAH—there are a lot of them, including home therapy patients and in-center patients, which I have now experience using for both. But I would say that there are three, kind of, subsets of patients that we've been working with at dialysis units for decades: those patients who are always near target, and we're kind of always holding off to say, well, next month they'll probably be there. The patients who are in and out of goal; patients that will sometimes say, well, it was Thanksgiving last month, or we had a birthday, and that's why they weren’t at target, but then they were at target. And then there’s the patient that's just never at target. And sometimes, unfortunately, we end up blaming the patient for not being at target because we say they're probably not compliant with their diet, or they're not compliant with their binders. And so, all three of those groups are patients I've had success with using XPHOZAH.

Dr Kopyt: I think that's varied, I think that there are different categories of patients. There are those patients clearly that are always high, that are always in the 7-8 range. I've got them on 15 binders, 15 pills a day, and I never can achieve their goal. That's… that's a no-brainer. That's clearly a population. Then I have the patient population that are just over, but they're always just over. Clearly, that’s a population. And then I have another population that really drives me nuts, that basically they’re at goal for 1, 2, 3 months, and then they're up, and then they’re at goal… maybe they’re up for 2-3 months, and then they're at goal again. And so they're kind of skirting that 5.5, which is acceptable to quality indicators, but not to me. And that's a population that also I address, so there's a fairly large population. The population that I don't address are the ones that are already at a goal of 4.5 or less. And then we start increasing the binders and we go from 1 to 2 to 3 of each binder and we add second binders. So now I explained to them that I now have a therapy that works differently than the binders, but also actually works in concert with them to help lower the phosphorus levels so that they can understand it's a different medicine because they all know what binders are. They've been taking them for a long period of time. So, I explained to them that we now have a new therapy that works completely differently. You take it completely differently, and that with the binders, unless they can't tolerate the binders and then I have a therapy that still they can use.
